Q. If a court requires me to take a driver improvement course, will this online defensive driving court satisfies that requirement?
A.
Yes, most of the time. However, if you've taken defensive driving for a traffic ticket recently, you may not be eligible. We are required to verify your eligibility using your ticket number and your driver's license before you begin taking the course. Call us or send us an email and we can find out, or you can contact your Arizona traffic court.

Q. How frequently am I allowed to take a driver improvement course?

That depends. Our course can be taken for traffic tickets as often as necessary. However, if you're taking it for a 2 point reduction on your driving record, the DMV will only let you take it once every 12 months.

Q. Do I have to let the Court know when I'm done with the course?
A.
No, we'll tell them for you. After you've finished the test, DrivingUniversity.com will advise the Arizona traffic court within one business day. We'll also email your Notice of Completion as soon as you finish. If you get the course completed by 2 pm Arizona time, Monday-Friday, we'll contact the Court on your behalf the very same day. If you finish later on in the day, after 2pm, we'll contact the Court on the following business day.

Arizona in-person final quiz
The State of Arizona requires drivers taking an online defensive driving course for ticket dismissal to take the final quiz in person to show photo ID. After taking the course, you can take the final quiz, online at Driving University, in front of any notary public. If you're taking defensive driving for a reason other than ticket dismissal, you are not required by the State of Arizona to use a notary public. Notary publics are state certified to witness and stamp signatures. The Arizona final quiz is not at all tricky or difficult; it's taken from DrivingUniversity.com and will only take about 10 minutes. The defensive driving quiz is graded electronically and Driving University will then notify the Arizona Court of your successful completion.
