The traffic picked up slightly, and Mike took advantage, weaving in and out as fast as he could manage; determined he can make up time by staying close to the bumpers of the cars in front of him. Finally, he came to a point where there was no room to change lanes, and he was stuck behind a slow-moving car driven by a gray-haired man. Mike moved to within 20 feet behind the older man, confident he could get the man to change lanes if he stayed on his bumper.

"Let's go, Grandpa, I don't have all day," Mike yelled out loud. "Some of us have somewhere to be." He began waving his hands in an exaggerated "get moving" gesture, but the older man didn't seem to notice. Mike banged his hands against the steering wheel in anger, forgetting that his own parents were getting up in years, and that he wouldn't want anyone treating them this way. It certainly wasn't the older man's fault that his senses were less acute due to advancing age.
